Welcome

We’re building a worldwide guidebook, and we need your help.

Discover climbs and problems

Our explorer allows you to browse the world map to find climbs and problems that are relevant to your skill level and location. We also overlay topos that describe the individual locations in greater detail and weather information so you can tell when it’s going to be great weather for getting out to the crag.

Spread the knowledge

We want to build a free, open database of climbs from all over the world, and allow anyone to access it. To do this, we need you to go to your local crag, take photos of your favorite routes and problems, and add them to our site.

If you’re particularly knowledgeable about an area, add a Topo to describe the area. Others will build on your work, and be able to use it free of charge.

Find people to climb with

If you’re looking for a climber, we want to help you find one! Create your account, then add a request for a partner. People near to where you want to go climbing will then be able to get in touch without you needing to give out your email address.

Take Bouldr with you

If you have an iPhone, click here and take a look at out iPhone app.

Our app allows you to download information from Bouldr onto your iPhone, and take it with you to the crag. It doesn’t require an Internet connection to work, and it uses your GPS to show you climbs that are near to you. You can also use your GPS and camera to upload new climbs and problems to Bouldr.
