We just rolled out a new version that includes quite a few improvements and changes. Most notable of these is the inclusion of Google Adsense on our pages and the new Explorer interface.

Google Adsense

We have included Google Adsense on our pages in order to help offset the cost of our hosting - if you find any of the ads useful, then follow them through, but please do not just click the ads for the sake of it! We are still looking into other more beneficial ways in which to monetise Bouldr without making sections of the site ‘members only’, as doing so would prevent us from realising our dream of bringing climbing areas and climbs out of obscurity, and making them readily available to everyone.

New Explorer Interface

The explorer has undergone another face-lift, so if anything breaks, please do be patient with us! We have improved the display of the climbs on the left hand side, and added pagination (we hadn’t really needed it till now, so it got put off somewhat). A number of behind the scenes tweaks and bug fixes have been included too, so the whole thing should perform much better now.

Anyhow, we are still very much in the early stages of creating Bouldr, so please do feel free to suggest new features, improvements and tell us about any problems you have.
